My Legos are BACK!
They were supposed to be in the garage until we moved but for some reason them being packed away in the garage made people buy me more sets. I did also have a birthday earlier this month and, of course, I got a lot of Legos. My mom bought the big triceratops Lego set on clearance for a super great price, so she was able to me a second present-the old Wii Skylander's Giant! WHAT A BIRTHDAY! My Grandma got me an awesome Lego set for my birthday which is the new space galaxy set. So many awesome pieces!!!! SO MANY!!!! I also got some little sets in addition to those.
Then my mom found the Millennium Falcon on clearance, so she snatched it up when she had the money! It was their last one too, so many folks grabbed it when the price went down a third time!!! I can't play with it though, but I did put it together. It has to be used for stop-animation so it needs to remain built.
Then we were at a Lego booth at a hobby show when we saw the Hogwart's Express. It is retired, and mom said we will use that, the Hogwart's Castle, and track down a Diagon Alley for a set...but those will have to stay built when we get them....that's so tough for me.
Those were some big deals on some big sets, and I got a few little sets too, so I kind of got new Legos to replace the Legos tucked away, and that is way awesome. Now the Legos are back out but in our room taking up major space. They're also not organized. I should take a picture of them, then take a picture when we sort them and put everything up. I think I will do that.
By the way, anyone watch the Super Bowl? Did you see our commercial? Really, it wasn't the stop-animation Lego commercial like we tried to do last year, but really it was the same. It was the milk commercial with The Rock; he ran out of an apartment (that's how we start), saves a cat in a tree, runs down the street, stops a bank robbery (they weren't scary gross clowns though and we didn't like those ugly clowns), saves an old lady from getting hit by the bus (same as ours) but then ours goes the police officer stops the light rail train to find his son's teddy bear and catches a ride back lights and sirens with the police and fire department to give his sleepy son his lost teddy bear back. Really, they stole our commercial, and I put it here and on my old website way before they made super bowl movies, and Mom entered the concept last summer when I started the can drive so we could make the full commercial.
